Download your Constancia PDF from sat.gob.mx and upload it in Stripe Dashboard → Settings → Tax Details. This aligns your legal name, RFC, and address so Stripe can emit valid CFDIs for processing fee deductions.
Complete the substitute W-8BEN inside Stripe under Settings → Compliance / Tax Documents. Enter your Mexican RFC in the Foreign Tax Identification Number (TIN) field. This invokes the US-Mexico Income Tax Treaty and eliminates the mandatory 30% US backup withholding on all digital sales.
Set all Stripe product prices in USD — US students check out in their native currency. Stripe automatically converts and deposits MXN into your Mexican bank account via your CLABE. No manual currency conversion, no extra friction.
